We had the opportunity to go to Schwangau today. It's probably best known for the Neuschwanstein Castle resting up above the town. This castle was one of the castles that inspired Disney's Cinderella's Castle. It really does look majestic nearly hidden away up in the forest. Even though it was a bit of a hassle getting up to the castle it was worth taking a look at it. I wasn't impressed with the tour as they didn't allow photography inside the castle. I'm fine to abide that when they tell you all the rules prior to purchasing your nob refundable tickets.
The other castle was across the way was interesting but was also a castle that didn't allow photography. It had some neat rooms and there were fountains on the outside.
It was mid day when we were there though which makes me feel like bone of the photos turned out. I'm sure there will be some snapshot quality photos out of the batch that I took.
Off to use the Internet for some real important work now. Netflix.
