So I'm heading on an extended trip to Europe and the United Kingdom. I haven't been to Europe since 2003 and have never ventured to the United Kingdom. This should be an interesting journey as I'm doing it with a phone that will actually work overseas this time. Thanks to T-Mobile I'll be able to use slower data wherever I go.
The destinations for this trip include Hungary, Germany, Scotland, England and Wales. We're starting off by taking a Viking River Cruise on the Danube. Followed by driving through various spots in Germany. Then heading over to Scotland for a tour. London for a few days after that. Then finally to Wales to visit my girlfriend and her family. That last bit is probably going to be my favorite part of the trip.
The most difficult aspect of this trip so far has been the packing. I am consistently thinking that I have missed some important thing which causes me to mentally go over my packing list and items that I've already packed. So much added and unnecessary stress. I don't think I've ever forgotten important items on a trip to date but it still hasn't stopped me from continuing in this stressful behavior.
As you can see even my carry-on items are fairly involved. I will be bringing all of my electronics on board the plane as well as a change of clothes in case my suitcase goes missing.
